RATN is a network and communication forum of 23 training institutions in Eastern and Southern Africa
RATN aims to improve the quality of training for HIV and sexually-transmitted disease (STD) and strengthen human capabilities in this area
RATN develops short-term skills-upgrading courses and supports member institutions in delivering these courses to mid-level STD/HIV workers, trainers, program managers and policymakers. The core training areas include clinical management of STD/HIV/AIDS, counselling, community and palliative care, program management and administration, policy and planning, research methodology.
