ETC East Africa Limited (ETC EA) is a not-for-profit business-like, private sector organisation based in Nairobi. It was established in 1989 as ETC Kenya and renamed ETC East Africa Ltd. in 2002 as a fully fledged, semi autonomous, East African Company. It is part of ETC International Group whose headquarters are in The Netherlands.
It’s mission is to build-local consultancy capacity while delivering high quality consultancy services in the field of sustainable development, It contracts a number of permanent and part-time consultants from East Africa. It implements assignments for Local Governments, local and international NGOs, projects and programmes as well as aid agencies. in Kenya and all its neighbouring countries.
ETC East Africa works in collaboration with ETC Crystal in implementing Health based projects and programmes in Eastern Africa. ETC Crystal, a business unit within the ETC International Group, is a Public Health Consultancy Group that promotes equitable and robust health systems which are responsive to local needs in low and middle income countries. They assist governments, NGOs, development agencies and private enterprises in the public health and HIV/AIDS sectors. It consists of International Public Health professional trained as medical doctors, sociologists, nutritionists, economists or management specialists.
