Description
This is an independent consultancy based in Johannesburg and led by Dr Warren Parker working in partnership with other consultants and organisations in the field. Warren has worked in the HIV/AIDS as a researcher over the past two decades. This includes quantitative research, HIV seroprevalence surveys, wide-ranging qualitative research, evaluation and policy/strategy development. His further expertise is in the field of communication and he has a PhD in Cultural and Media Studies with an additional qualification in adult education. He was also involved in the development and management of South Africa’s Beyond Awareness Campaign in the 1990s, and co-founded and served as director the Centre for AIDS Development, Research and Evaluation (CADRE) from 2000-2009.
