This presentation introduces and explains the concept of Results-Based Management and Planning and its use for the UNDAF results matrix and the UN strategic framework on HIV and AIDS. It has been used for refresher skills training on RBM for Joint UN Team members across the ESA region.

These Excel� tools enable users to: i) operationalize the UNDAF results matrix and identify - as well as reach consensus on - milestones to achieving the UNDAF country Programme outputs; ii) develop the Joint UN Annual Workplan key results; iii) identify main activities for the joint annual workplan; and iv) identify opportunities for joint Programmes.

For the Programme to run properly, macros have to be enabled (click on Tools / Options / Security / Macro Security / select Medium). The Programme was developed in Visual basic. If you want to modify the Programme and do not have capacity within your office, please contact Stephane Yanga at the RST ESA.

D07. Excel� Database for the Review of Joint UN Annual Rolling Workplan on AIDS (AWP).

This Excel� Database can be used to review progress made on the previous year�s joint UN workplan in support of the national response, in order to take stock of key achievements and constraints in the implementation of the workplan and identify lessons learned for the development of the following year�s joint annual workplan.
